Soothe & Gain is a high calorie, low starch and low sugar soaked feed, suitable for equines prone to gastric ulcers as part of a balanced diet. With a high calorie/energy level it is ideal for those that need to put on or maintain condition, or those in harder levels of work. The energy that Soothe & Gain supplies is from fibre and oil, providing an excellent source of slow release, stamina-giving energy. Being whole cereal grain and molasses free it is low in starch and low sugar, ideal for those that react negatively to high starch diets.
Formulated with digestive health in mind, Soothe & Gain contains a comprehensive gut support package including:
• Maerl (calcareous marine algae) which is rich in bioavailable calcium and magnesium to support the maintenance of a healthy stomach pH.
• A blend of prebiotics and a probiotic to support the microbial population of the foregut and hindgut.
• Beta Glucans, derived from the fibrous ingredients within Soothe & Gain, form a gel-like consistency which helps to moderate the movement of feed through the gut, meaning the stomach remains fuller for longer.
• A careful selection of herbs: mint, nettle, dandelion and fenugreek for their well-known properties
